Backup QB’s – The Patriots possess Brian Hoyer as their backup to Tom Brady. Because Brady won’t play long it will basically be Hoyer’s game. He’s been okay in relief of Brady in the preseason so the Patriots are not impossible. The Giants have a serious difficulty after Eli Manning leaves the game on Thursday. Their backup is Jim Sorgi though he’s been hurt. It has been third-string quarterback Rhett Bomar who has been receiving most of the action. He does not in fact provide you much assurance.
