UFC 117 odds are on the board for this weekend and there’ve been a few injury replacements that affected the odds.

A few the other bouts have changed in UFC wagering, though the headliner remains the battle between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen.

UFC 117 odds prefer Silva over Sonnen in the offer tournament at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on Saturday night. One of the alterations to the card is Todd Brown coming in for the hurt Thiago Silva for the tournament versus Tim Boetsch. Due to a back injury, Silva was pressured to bow out of the bout. The odds have changed considerably on this bout as Silva would have been greater than a 3-1 fave versus Boetsch but now it’ll be Boetsch favored versus Brown. Todd Brown just barely signed with the UFC. Brown is shown with a 15-1 track record in MMA bouts, but zero of those have occurred in the UFC. Nearly all of his competitions have ended via submission or knockout, and his only career loss was 3 years ago when he dropped a decision to Josh Hendricks. Boetsch could be favored, however, after he was perhaps unfairly released from his UFC deal last year, then added back in after supporters lobbied for his return.

Phil Davis filling in for the hurt Stanislav Nedkov is another replacement that has affected the odds. No information on the injury was immediately offered. Rodney Wallace will go up versus Davis. Phil “Mr Wonderful” Davis is a major fave in UFC 117 betting versus Wallace. In his career, Davis is 6-0. He hasn’t been in competition since winning versus Alexander Gustafsson in UFC 112, his second bout since his debut at UFC 109. Wallace has lost his only 2 previous appearances in the UFC while Davis has won his first 2 bouts in the UFC.

On a related note, there has already been a change to UFC 118 as Gerald Harris replaces Jorge Rivera for a tournament versus Alessio Sakara. UFC 118 happens on August 28th at the TD Garden in Boston. Harris has won 10 consecutive bouts total and may be favored over Sakara.

UFC 117 betting odds this weekend features 11 bouts on the card. Silva versus Sonnen is the offer competition. Silva has won 12 in a row, plenty of of which came in amazing manner. He is 11-0 in the UFC and he is 7-0 in championship competitions. On the other side, Sonnen has won his recent competitions by decision. 14 of his 24 wins have come via decision.

Jon Fitch versus Thiago Alves, Clay Guida vs Rafael dos Anjos, Roy Nelson vs Junior dos Santos and Matt Hughes vs Ricardo Almeida are other main event competitions in UFC 117. Dustin Hazelett vs Rick Story, Ben Saunders vs Dennis Hallman, Stefan Struve vs Christian Morecraft, Johny Hendricks vs Charlie Brenneman, Tim Boetsch vs Todd Brown and it’ll be Phil Davis vs Rodney Wallace are all on the preliminary card for UFC 117 on Saturday night.
