There was no wonder on the list of top picks in the 2010 NBA Draft as enthusiasts at the sports book watched Washington take John Wall whereas Philadelphia took Evan Turner.

Wall and Turner have the ability that all great participants do to affect sports book online NBA odds.

Wall is believed to be a can’t miss player who will be a star in the NBA for years while Turner isn’t that far behind. Both Washington and Philadelphia may be much improved next season simply because of these two participants. Wall owned the college game as a freshman with Kentucky while Turner was amazing with Ohio State in his time with the Buckeyes.

As to which participants will considerably support their teams next season after the top two participants, it becomes more of a guessing game.

New Jersey took Georgia Tech forward Derrick Favors and while he’s a strong player, he seems to require some time to develop. Favors was ranked as 1 of the greatest high school basketball players in the class of 2009. On April 9, 2010, Derrick Favors declared he would forego his final three years of college eligibility to get into the 2010 NBA Draft.

Minnesota took Wesley Johnson with the fourth overall pick and Johnson has the ability to aid the Timberwolves next season but he’s not going to dominate a game. On April 12, 2010, forgoing his final year of college eligibility, Johnson announced himself eligible for the NBA draft.

Sacramento rolled the dice and drafted DeMarcus Cousins from Kentucky. Cousins declared that he would forgo his final three seasons of collegiate eligibility and get into the 2010 NBA Draft on April 7, 2010. He is a player who may dominate a game if he’s determined to do so. He has a lot of skill but he also may cause problems so there’s no guarantee he will be a great player for the Kings.

New Jersey needs the most support since they were the worst squad in the NBA last season. Regrettably for them they got the 3rd pick and Favors is simply not in the same category as Wall or Turner. The Nets may be improved depending upon who they add this off-season, since they do have a lot of salary cap space though.

Minnesota had the 2nd worst history in the league and while Wesley Johnson is a great player he’s not going to considerably improve the Timberwolves. The worst squad in the league doesn’t automatically get the top pick due to the fact the NBA has a lottery system. That genuinely injured New Jersey and Minnesota this year while it helped Washington and Philadelphia. Both the Wizards and 76ers should be improved next season and in the Eastern Conference it’s not impossible that they may compete for a playoff spot.

Wall is currently being built up as the next big thing in basketball. On June 23, 2010, Reebok exposed Wall as its latest signing, casting him as the face of its latest basketball shoe, the ZigTech Slash.
